FEMP EISA 432 Compliance Tracking System (CTS) enables the public to analyze and generate custom reports of CTS facility level data. This data warehouse includes only non-restricted CTS data. The data warehouse consists of five data sets (or "data cubes") that may be used to build custom reports. There are four detail level data sets used to explore data per module, including prior year records: Facility Annual Detail, Comprehensive Evaluation Detail, Benchmarked Building Detail, and Project and Follow-up Detail data. The 5th data set, Most Recent Facility Overview, allows users to compare the most recent data from fields across all of the facility sub-sets.

Grid technologies provide a valuable solution for data intensive scientific applications but are not readily available for astronomical data and Interactive Data Language (IDL) widely used in astronomy. There is a need for tools allowing IDL and astronomical data to interoperate with Grids. Tech-X Corporation proposes to develop a set of tools, GRIDL, for accessing and manipulating of distributed astronomical data via IDL clients. GRIDL will automate generation of the IDL clients of Web Services for analysis and visualization of astronomical data and provide services for running parallel and serial IDL processes on Grids facilitating astronomical data analysis. In Phase I we will develop a prototype of GRIDL working with Flexible Image Transport System (FITS). Based on the mapping of FITS data types to the Web Services Definition Language, we will implement a prototype Web Service with an IDL client for accessing remote FITS data and develop a prototype Web Service for running parallel IDL processes on a Grid. Our approach is based on the ability IDL to call external C and Java and the Grid interoperability with these languages. In Phase II we will fully implement the GRIDL and include other data formats common in astronomy.

This dataset was originally provided to the staff of LIBI and the Intermountain Region GIS Program Office, National Park Service free of charge, for their appropriate use as a buildings GIS dataset. NPS park personnel copied the file and isolated features that were part of the park's old sewer system. The Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument (LIBI) GIS program was created from academic research and coursework in the Department of Economics and Geography, United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). The GIS data developed for LIBI was complied from hardcopy maps and blueprints provided by the LIBI staff and softcopy data available from the US Census Bureau. This dataset captures the older sewer system areas not currently in use at LIBI as marked on the Potable Water and Fire Portection Lines Blueprint #381/41002A sheet 2 of 11.

<p>The objective of this project will be to migrate some of the outputs from the WFF Mission Planning Lab (MPL) into a real-time visualization system.  The MPL is responsible for generating pre-flight RF margin link analysis, mission simulation & visualization, and other products for WFF missions.  This real-time visualization system would depict in 3D graphics the position and orientation of the launch vehicle(s) or suborbital carrier (UAV, sounding rocket), VIRTEx would be expanded to use a more flexible publish/subscribe architecture, and the system will leverage recently developed advanced telemetry and data handling systems within the Range network.</p><p>Another main objective will be updating VIRTEx to support a sounding rocket mission which is scheduled to launch from NASA Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) in the summer of 2014.</p><p>This project will also be used to demonstrate the successful attitude data conversion from a WFF telemetry system.  Updates are being finished on this telemetry system that convert various NASA Sounding Rocket attitude control systems (ACS) data formats.  Multiple ACS systems output different data formats, so libraries and algorithms were added to the telemetry system to convert this data into a standard yaw, pitch, and roll dataset for Range Safety.  VIRTEx will be able to easily show this data and will be able to compare it to the pre-flight attitude predictions.</p>

This data set provides three data files in text format (.txt). Two files contain biomass and above-ground net primary production (ANPP) estimates for two upland meadows with contrasting soil types at the Otradnoe research station of the V.L. Komarov Botanical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences located on the Karelian peninsula 100-km to the north of St. Petersburg, Russia. The third file contains monthly and annual climate data recorded at the study site for the period 1968-1973. Measurements of above- and below-ground live and dead biomass were made at a sandy meadow (OTRS) from 1969 to 1972 and at a loamy meadow (OTRL) from 1969 to 1973. Additional biomass measurements were made at OTRS in June 1972 and at OTRL in May 1973. Monthly N, P, and S content of above-ground live biomass were measured 1969-1971 at OTRS.Revision Notes: Only the documentation for this data set has been modified. The data files have been checked for accuracy and are identical to those originally published in 1996.

Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) are a navigation safety device that transmits and monitors the location and characteristics of many vessels in U.S. and international waters in real-time. In the U.S. the Coast Guard and industry collect AIS data, which can also be used for a variety of coastal planning purposes. NOAA and BOEM have worked jointly to re-task and make available some of the most important records from the U.S. Coast Guard's national network of AIS receivers. Information such as location, time, ship type, length, width, and draft have been extracted from the raw data and prepared as track lines for analyses in desktop GIS software. The data represented in this dataset is a subset of the 2011 Great Lakes Vessel Traffic showing only cargo vessel traffic.

Published in Volume 4, Issue 1, of Medicare and Medicaid Research Review, this paper provides an overview of results examining alternative Medicare post-acute care (PAC) episode definitions and exploring geographic differences in episode payments. The results of these analyses of PAC use vary based on 1) the denominator used to calculate an average payment level-all hospital discharges or solely PAC users 2) the mix and volume of PAC services, including decisions to include or exclude an acute hospital readmission and 3) the definition of the end point of an episode. The differences in PAC episode payments by geographic area show the geographic variation in the percent of beneficiaries discharged to PAC and the state variation in mean payment per PAC user. The results of these analyses provide information on the makeup of service use under different episode definitions and highlight considerations for providers and payers testing alternatives for bundled payment.

A digital elevation model (DEM) of a portion of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta region and Three Mile Creek in Alabama was produced from remotely sensed, geographically referenced elevation measurements by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Elevation measurements were collected over the area (bathymetry was irresolvable) using the Experimental Advanced Airborne Research Lidar (EAARL), a pulsed laser ranging system mounted onboard an aircraft to measure ground elevation, vegetation canopy, and coastal topography. The system uses high-frequency laser beams directed at the Earth's surface through an opening in the bottom of the aircraft's fuselage. The laser system records the time difference between emission of the laser beam and the reception of the reflected laser signal in the aircraft. The plane travels over the target area at approximately 50 meters per second at an elevation of approximately 300 meters, resulting in a laser swath of approximately 240 meters with an average point spacing of 2-3 meters. The EAARL, developed originally by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, measures ground elevation with a vertical resolution of +/-15 centimeters. A sampling rate of 3 kilohertz or higher results in an extremely dense spatial elevation dataset. Over 100 kilometers of coastline can be surveyed easily within a 3- to 4-hour mission. When resultant elevation maps for an area are analyzed, they provide a useful tool to make management decisions regarding land development.
