Summary
Description
Datasets showing the cumulative evaporation (mm) of water in the summer period in Queensland (October to May). Loss of water from troughs and water holes restricts grazing access to areas without permanent water and increases costs of providing water to livestock. Areas of higher evaporation carry additional risk and require more frequent monitoring of water points. Datsets show the differences in evapoeration depending on ENSO state (El Nino, La Nina, neutral). This dataset can be viewed in the web map WALI http://wali.daf.qld.gov.au
