Description
The degree of success or failure of the annual increment in the population of waterfowl is influenced by many factors. Predation is one of the factors adversely affecting waterfowl production, and gulls have long been recognized as predators on the nests and young of waterfowl. This paper discusses this preypredator relationship on the Alaskan breeding grounds.
