Description

This is a summary of field work done on the Chickaloon Flats during the summer of 1970. Objectives of this field work were to: 1 determine the utilization of Chickaloon Flats by migrant and resident waterfowl and waterbirds; 2 make a cover map of current vegetation and to determine revegetation of coastal areas inundated by the 1964 earthquake; and 3 determine recreational use of Chickaloon Flats by waterfowl hunters.
