Description
The WAF is used to test and evaluate ejection seats, aircrew systems personnel flight equipment and clothing, and aircraft exterior frame components. The lab capabilities include; simulation of effects of instantaneous windblast as experienced during actual ejections, measurement of head and neck loads, structural integrity and pilot tube compatibility testing, computer modeling and simulation to complement facility testing.
