Description
This article discusses the habitat, migration, and nesting behavior of Taiga Merlins Falco c. columbarius in Denali National Park. A study was conducted to determine the contaminants found in unhatched merlin eggs. Thirty eggs were analyzed for contaminants. DDE was the most prevalent and significant contaminant found in the eggs.
