Description
This resource provides access to Birmingham City Council's energy (electricity, water and gas consumption) data for the three main buildings that form the 'city centre complex' i.e. the Council House, Council House Extension at Margaret Street and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. Data has been made available since April 2014 and shows electricity (kWh), gas (kWh) and water consumption. This resource also provides access to electricity consumption data for an additional 40 Birmingham City Council sites, detailing 20 of the biggest users and 20 of the smallest users of electricity (however please note this is not based on building typology but purely consumption).

Description

The dataset shows the interim projected household levels broken down by age. This dataset replaces the 2008-based household projections released in 2010. The household projections are produced by applying projected household representative rates to the population projections published by the Office for National Statistics. Projected household representative rates are based on trends observed in Census and Labour Force Survey data. The assumptions underlying national household and population projections are demographic trend based. They are not forecasts as they do not attempt to predict the impact that future government policies, changing economic circumstances or other factors might have on demographic behaviour. They provide the household levels and structures that would result if the assumptions based on previous demographic trends in the population and rates of household formation were to be realised in practice. Additional Information. This data is available for download as an Excel spreadsheet (https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/189965/AllTablesNonRegionalFinal__3_.xls). Summary
Description
The following data set shows the number of dwellings in each energy efficiency rating band per quarter. The energy efficiency rating is a measure of the overall efficiency of a building. This rating is based on the performance of the building and its fixed services (such as heating and lighting). The higher the rating the more energy efficient the home is and the lower the fuel bills will be. The energy efficiency rating charts are divided into rating bands ranging from A+ to G, (or A to G in the case of a building that is a dwelling), where A+ is very efficient and G is the least efficient. A DEC (domestic energy certificate) shows the energy performance of a building (the operational rating) based on actual energy consumption as recorded over the last 12 months within the validity period of the DEC. This rating is shown on a scale from A to G. The statistics also include partial figures for Q3 2014. These have been included for reference purposes; however users should treat these as strictly provisional. The Q3 2014 figures will change in subsequent quarterly publications as the EPB Registers are updated with new EPCs and DECs. Additional Information The original source for this data is the DCLG Open Data Portal - http://opendatacommunities.org/data/building-standards-and-sustainability/energy-efficiency-and-performance/domestic/certifcates-lodged-by-number/by-energy-efficiency

This dataset concerns loans of books made across libraries in Leeds since the 2000/01 financial year. Please note The figures do not include loans of any of media items (for example, loans of CDs, DVDs, talking books etc). Please also be aware that the figures are for the number of ‘issues’, as opposed to simply the number of books loaned. For example, if someone borrowed one book, but renewed it twice, this would count as three issues.
