Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Eskimo Walrus Commission worked cooperatively in the collection of biological harvest data, teeth, female reproductive tracts, and stomach contents from Eskimo walrus hunters to monitor the health of the walrus population and determine the size, age, sex composition, and distribution of the spring walrus harvest. This report summarizes the methods, results, and discussion of the study.
