Description

This report covers the proposed expansion of Holla Bend National Wildlife Refuge to increase the quantity and quality of wintering habitat primarily for mallards and Canada geese. The expansion would contribute to the goals and objectives outlined in the North American Waterfowl Management Plan by increasing the quantity and quality of food grown and made available to waterfowl and create an effective rest area. The report covers the proposition, justification and other considerations.
