Description

The purpose of the study summarized in this report was do determine if inorganic contaminants were responsible for the recent declines in reproductive success of American white pelicans that nest on Anaho Island. Concentrations of various metals and trace elements were measured in the pelican eggs, and the results were compared to a study done at Malheur NWR in 1996.
