Description

This report summarizes the findings of a study on red salmon survival in Karluk Lake on Kodiak Island. The objectives were to systematically isolate, study, and evaluate separate ecological factors in the freshwater environment at Karluk or Bare Lakes that conceivably could affect the survival of young salmon during any stage of their freshwater life. The survival studies are discussed.
