Description

Provides an automated mechanism for tracking surety bond activity throughout the life cycle of each bond, from posting to termination (return of funds or retention of funds). Is accessible to Headquarters, regions, administrative centers and district offices. The Service uses Immigration Bonds as a means of ensuring that aliens appear at deportation hearings or do not violate the special status agreement under which they were granted permission to enter the country. Mantains the bond process information concerning each alien involved in judicial activities, pending the outcome of a trial, background check or hearing. Supports all reporting requirements.
