Description

Year 2003 Tropical Cyclones of the World poster. During calendar year 2003, fifty-one tropical cyclones with sustained surface winds of at least 64 knots were observed around the world. NOAA's Polar-Orbiting Operational Environmental Satellites (POES) captured these powerful storms near peak intensity, which are all presented in this colorful poster. Poster size is 36"x 27".
