Description

This map layer includes Global Map data showing the boundaries of counties and equivalent entities of the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. State boundaries and the national boundary may be derived from the information included in the map layer. The data are a modified version of the National Atlas of the United States 1:1,000,000-Scale County Boundaries of the United States; that data set was created by extracting county polygon features from the CENSUS 2006 TIGER/Line files produced by the U.S. Census Bureau.
