Description

The dataset contains satellite-derived sea-surface ocean color (chlorophyll-a) measurements collected by means of the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) sensor onboard the NASA Aqua satellite. The data is available at weekly and monthly intervals at a spatial resolution of 0.05 degrees. The geographic coverage is global, and the temporal coverage ranges from 2002-present.
