Description

OPS Master is a management tool and database for integrated financial planning and portfolio management in USAID Missions. Using OPS Master, the three principal mission financial planning reports, the budget, the pipeline report, and the procurement plan, are produced from the same data and present a seamless and consistent picture of the portfolio. Two components of the current version of OPS Master are the OPS Master Tool and Integrated Financial Planning (IFP). IFP is a formal standardized Mission business process that provides information about implementation progress, funding plans, pipelines, and procurement plans for all Mission-managed resources. This information is used in quarterly financial review meetings. The initial system was based off of Excel spreadsheets, but OPS Master 3 upgrades those to a web-based data entry interface for a more standard and shareable format.
