Watershed Sciences, Inc. (WS) collected Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data of the Douglas County PUD area of interest (AOI) east of Wenatchee, WA on May 2nd - May 27th, 2009. The total area of delivered LiDAR is 105,134 acres (Figure 1). The requested area was expanded to include a 100 m buffer to ensure complete coverage and adequate point densities around survey area boundaries.

NODC Accession 0108071 includes chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from KNORR in the South Pacific Ocean from 2005-08-21 to 2005-10-06 and retrieved during cruise CLIVAR_AAIW05. These data include ALKALINITY, CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-11 (CFC-11), CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-113 (CFC-113), CHLOROFLUOROCARBON-12 (CFC-12), Carbon tetrachloride (CCL4), DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NITRATE, NITRITE, PHOSPHATE, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, SALINITY, SILICATE, WATER TEMPERATURE and pH. The instruments used to collect these data include Alkalinity titrator, CTD, Coulometer for DIC measurement and bottle. These data were collected by Andrew Dickson, Lynne Talley and James Swift of Scripps Institution of Oceanography as part of the CLIVAR_AAIW05 data set. The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.

Description
1. The purpose of this project is to collect catch and biological information from commercial west coast fisheries that interact with groundfish species. 2. The project is a collaboration between NOAA Fisheries and Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission (PSMFC). 3. We place observers on commercial fishing vessels to collect data on catch and to collect biological data. After collection, data will be quality controlled and then used to produce reports on fishery specific catch of species and mortality of groundfish species. 4. The data are analyzed to produce GIS maps and for a variety of other reasons related to scientific investigation and fishery management. There are many products of this project, including yearly reporting of fishery catch, mortality of groundfish, bycatch of halibut and protected species, and to write manuscripts. 5. The primary management audience is the Pacific Fisheries Management Council. 6. On-going project. 7. Stand-alone project. 8. We have many deadlines throughout a year from management, scientific, regional, industry, and other users of observer data and observer data analyzes. Temperature profile data were collected using bathythermograph (BT/XBT) casts from PRESIDENT MCKINLEY in the Pacific Ocean from February 26, 1977 to March 6, 1977. Data were submitted by Scripps Institution of Oceanography as part of the Thermal Structure Monitoring Program in the Pacific (TRANSPAC) project. Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard Universal Bathythermograph Output (UBT) format. Full BT descriptions are available at http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/General/NODC-Archive/bt.html. The UBT format contains temperature-depth profile data obtained using expendable bathythermograph (XBT) instruments. Cruise information, position, date and time were reported for each observation. The data record was comprised of pairs of temperature-depth values. Unlike the MBT Data File, in which temperature values were recorded at uniform 5 m intervals, the XBT data files contained temperature values at non-uniform depths. These depths were recorded at the minimum number of points (''inflection points'') required to accurately define the temperature curve. Standard XBTs can obtain profiles to depths of either 450 or 760 m. With special instruments, measurements can be obtained to 1830 m.

NODC Accession 0124208 contains raw underway meteorological, navigational, optical, physical and time series data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard the NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson in the Bering Sea, Gulf of Alaska and North Pacific Ocean from 2013-04-29 to 2013-05-11. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to NODC. In addition, NODC Accession 0124208 contains supplementary cruise-level metadata, which OMAO personnel logged in the Ship Daily Activity Log (SDAL). OMAO and NODC personnel developed the automated process to archive these data under the auspices of the NOAA Rolling Deck to Repository (NOAA R2R) program.
