This Comprehensive Conservation Plan CCP was written to guide management on Bowdoin NWR for the next 15 years. This plan outlines the Complex vision and purpose and describes how Bowdoin NWR will contribute to the overall mission of the Refuge System. The plan provides an introduction to the Refuge Complex, an overview of the CCP process, a description of Refuge Complex resources, and information about the management direction. Key planning issues include: upland habitat, sharptailed grouse, water resources, water salinity, riparian habitat, wildlife disease, piping plover, invasive plants, visitor services, partnerships, operations, natural gas development, and monitoring.
