This project uses survey data (from an earlier mail survey of licensed anglers in Washington and Oregon) to build economic demand models (mixed logit) for saltwater recreational fishing that are used to produce the economic value associated with changes in characteristics of the saltwater fishery (e.g., bag limits, sizes, and catch rates). In particular, this project focuses on the differences between wild and hatchery origin salmon that can be retained or must be released.
