The Air Carrier Statistics database, also known as the T-100 data bank, contains domestic and international airline market and segment data. certificated U.S. air carriers report monthly air carrier traffic information using Form T-100. Foreign carriers having at least one point of service in the United States or one of its territories report monthly air carrier traffic information using Form T-100(f). The data is collected by the Office of Airline Information, Bureau of Transportation Statistics, Research and Innovative Technology Administration.

Description
Common-offset GPR surveys were conducted with a Sensors and Software 500-MHz Pulse Ekko Pro system. We collected data from the ground, towed behind a researcher on skis or snowmobile, and from the air, strapped underneath a helicopter. All of the profiles are linked to coincident GPS observations. Coincident in-situ data is provided for calibration, and may be composed of any of the following: snow pits and/or snow-pit/snow-core combinations, probe profiles, and ablation stakes. This supplemental information may be used to calibrate velocity for conversion from time domain to depth domain. This supplemental information is provided as is, with additional information specific to usage included within the in-situ folder.

This annual narrative report for Lostwood National Wildlife Refuge outlines Refuge accomplishments during the 1964 calendar year. In September 1959 the cruise programme for F.R.V. DERWENT HUNTER was changed and cruises were planned to investigate tuna in South-East Australian waters in a much wider area than that covered by the regular coastal operations of F.R.V. MARELDA. The first objective was to determine any associations that might exist between the distributions of souther bluefin tuna (Thunnus maccoyii) and the type of water in which they were caught. For these investigations a tuna longline was designed and assembled. The details of this are given in the first section of this report. A short summary follows of the length frequency data of the southern bluefin caught on these cruises, and the relations between tuna and water conditions. In the final section the hydrology and tuna longlining results of Cruises DH 11/59 - DH 15/59 and DH 1/60 - DH 4/60 are given. The zooplankton samples taken during these cruises are not discussed in this report. The results are given in C.S.I.R.O. Aust. (1962) where the regular zooplankton samples taken by F.R.V. MARELDA at selected coastal stations are discussed.

Description
This project is a cooperative effort among the National Ocean Service, National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science, Center for Coastal Monitoring and Assessment; the University of Hawaii; and Analytical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLC. IKONOS imagery was purchased to support the Pacific Islands Geographic Information System (GIS) project and the National Ocean Service's (NOS) coral mapping activities. One-meter panchromatic and four-meter multi-spectral data were purchased for each study area. The enhanced spectral resolution of multispectral imagery and control of bandwidths of multispectral data yield an advantage over color aerial photography particularly when coral health and time series analysis of coral reef community structure are of interest. The IKONOS imagery was processed to minimize atmospheric and water column effects. Photointerpreters can accurately and reliably delineate boundaries of features in the imagery as they appear on the computer monitor using a software interface such as the Habitat Digitizer.

FUNCTION: Provides a facility for the assembly, test, and vacuum optical characterization of solar and coronal satellite instrumentation under ultraclean conditions. DESCRIPTION: The large SCOTCH is the primary test chamber located within a 400 ft2 Class 10 clean room. This completely dry-pumped, 550 ft3 vacuum chamber is maintained at synchrotron levels of cleanliness. Solar instrumentation up to 1 m in diameter and 5 m in length can be physically accommodated in the chamber. An instrument’s optical performance is probed and calibrated with a variety of visible and extreme-ultraviolet (XUV) sources mounted on the chamber’s 11-m beamline. The instrument is mounted on a precision pointing table equipped with motorized slides, which allows controlled adjustment of instrument pointing with subarc-second precision under evacuated conditions. The main beamline is baffled to eliminate stray reflections from the beamline walls and minimize the effect of light scattered off the instrument surfaces. A solar disk stray light rejection of 10–12 was successfully measured in the Large Angle Spectrometric Coronagraph (LASCO) C3 channel. INSTRUMENTATION: The SCOTCH is instrumented with temperature-controlled quartz crystal monitors and residual gas analyzers for real-time, quantitative measurements of volatile contamination. Various light sources can be introduced at one end of the 11-m chamber. This includes a solar spectrum simulator as well as other visible and XUV sources. The chamber contains an instrument-pointing table capable of supporting payloads with a mass of 75 kg. The precision of the pointing table is less than 1 arc second.

NODC Accession 0125583 contains raw underway meteorological, navigational, physical and time series data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard the NOAA Ship Nancy Foster in the Gulf of Mexico and North Atlantic Ocean from 2014-09-15 to 2014-09-27. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to NODC. In addition, NODC Accession 0125583 contains supplementary cruise-level metadata, which OMAO personnel logged in the Ship Daily Activity Log (SDAL). OMAO and NODC personnel developed the automated process to archive these data under the auspices of the NOAA Rolling Deck to Repository (NOAA R2R) program.

Description
GLORIA data for the Gulf of Alaska Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) were acquired during five cruises over a four year period. The first cruise conducted in 1986 (F-1-86-GA) surveyed an area of the north-central mosaic area and covered an area of approximately 40,000 square kilometers (sq km). The second two cruises (F-8-88-AA, F-9-88-WG) were conducted in 1988. One of the 1988 cruises (F-8-88-AA) focused on a survey of the Aleutian Arc. The eastern most portion of that survey extended outside of the Aleutian Arc survey area and covered an area of approximately 52,000 square kilometers (sq km) of seafloor on the western edge of the Gulf of Alaska. The final two cruises (F-6-89-GA, F-7-89-EG) were completed in 1989. As in earlier EEZ reconnaissance surveys, the USGS utilized the GLORIA (Geological LOng-Range Inclined Asdic) sidescan-sonar system to complete the geologic mapping. The collected GLORIA data were processed and digitally mosaicked to produce continuous imagery of the seafloor. Thirty digital mosaics with a 50-meter pixel resolution were completed for the region.

The primary risk classifications used are the 1-percent-annual-chance flood event, the 0.2-percent-annual- chance flood event, and areas of minimal flood risk. The Floodplain Mapping/Redelineation flood risk boundaries are derived from the engineering information Flood Insurance Studies (FISs), previously published Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs), flood hazard analyses performed in support of the FISs and FIRMs, and new mapping data, where available. The FISs and FIRMs are published by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The Gun-Free Schools Act Report, 2001-02 (GFSA Report 2001-02) is a study that is part of the Gun-Free Schools Act Reports (GFSA Report) program; program data is available since 1997-98 at . GFSA Report 2001-02 (http://www2.ed.gov/about/reports/annual/gfsa/index.html) is a universe survey that collects information on elementary- and secondary-student expulsions related to possession of a firearm at school. The study was conducted using paper instruments. Local education agencies (LEAs) and state education agencies (SEAs) receiving federal funds under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended, were required to provide information. Key statistics produced from GFSA Report 2001-02 were information on the number of students expelled (by type of firearm and school level); the number of expulsions that were modified on a case-by-case basis; the number of modified cases that were not for students with disabilities; and the number of expelled students who were referred to an alternative school or program.

ABSTRACT: This data set provides estimates of Net Ecosystem Exchange (NEE) flux for the U.S. Upper Midwest at 0.5-degree resolution for the year 2007. Estimates were produced by two atmospheric CO2 inversion systems (top-down), referenced as the continental Colorado State University (CSU) inversion and the mesoscale Pennsylvania State University (PSU) inversion. This modeling work was performed in support of the North American Carbon Program (NACP) Mid-Continent Intensive (MCI) experimental campaign in the U.S. Upper Midwest designed to evaluate innovative methods for CO2 flux inversion and data assimilation. The experiment was performed over a relatively flat, heavily managed agricultural landscape which features a high density of atmospheric CO2 observation measurements. Among the CO2 observations used by the inversion systems were results from a network of instrumented tall towers in the region. The NEE estimates were produced for comparison with CO2 fluxes derived from bottom-up inventory estimates.There are five data files with this data set. The NEE estimates are provided in two NetCDF files, one for each inversion system. Boundary CO2 inflow data used by each inversion system are provided in three comma-separated-format files (.csv).
