Current, meteorological, and other data were collected from TAO Arrays EM4,EM5,CM4,CM5,WM4,WM5 in the equatorial Pacific Ocean from 23 February 1997 to 10 July 1998. Current data contain 5 pairs of zonal and meridional current values from 10m, 25m, 45m, 80m, and 120m. Temperature data include values from 13 depths. Meteorological data include, wind speed, wind direction, air temperature, and relative humidity.

MBT data were collected from the USS ESTEEM in support of the Fleet Observations of Oceanographic Data (FLOOD) project. Data were collected by US Navy; Ships of Opportunity from 26 January 1969 to 03 February 1969. The platform was equipped and staffed to observe weather and sea conditions. Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard Universal Bathythermograph Output (UBT) format. Full format description is available from NODC at www.nodc.noaa.gov/General/NODC-Archive/bt.html. The UBT file format is used for temperature-depth profile data obtained using the mechanical bathythermograph (MBT) instrument. The maximum depth of MBT observations is approximately 285 m. Therefore, MBT data are useful only in studying the thermal structure of the upper layers of the ocean. Cruise information, date, position, and time are reported for each observation. The data record comprises pairs of temperature-depth values. Temperature data in this file are recorded at uniform 5 m depth intervals.

Popis
Terrapoint collected LiDAR for over 177 square kilometers of the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Kent County, Delaware. The nominal pulse spacing for this project was no greater than 0.75 meters. This project was collected with a sensor which collects waveform data and provides an intensity value for each discrete pulse extracted from the waveform. GPS Week Time, Intensity, Flightline and echo number attributes were provided for each LiDAR point. Dewberry used proprietary procedures to classify the LAS according to project specifications: 1-Unclassified, 2-Ground, 7-Noise, 9-Water, 12-Overlap. Once the data was received by NOAA CSC, all of the class 7 (noise) points were removed from the data set. Dewberry produced classified LAS and DEMs for the 99 tiles (1700 m x 1700 m) that cover the project area.

This GIS grid atlas contains precipitation frequency estimates for the Pacific Islands that are based on precipitation data. This atlas is a new release from the NWS and does not update any other publication. The precipitation frequency grids are available for durations from 5 minutes through 60 days, and for average recurrence intervals of 1 year through 1,000 years. AMS and PDS results are provided; refer to published documentation for differences between the two.
