Spectrum Mapping, LLC was tasked by MAPVI - URS Corporation, Albuquergue, to provide airborne Light Detection and Ranging (Lidar) of approximately 620 square miles around Nueces County, Texas. MAPVI (Mapping Alliance Partnership VI for FEMA Region IV) is a joint venture of URS Corporation, Greenhorne & O'Mara and Spectrum Mapping. Spectrum followed data collection and processing procedures for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Guidelines and Specifications Appendix A. Data product deliverables included Lidar to support 2 foot contours. Spectrum's acquisition division collected the Lidar data on June 19, 22-25, 27, 28 and July 16 and 17, 2006. The project was collected with a Rams ALS50 Lidar sensor, including an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and a dual frequency Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver and antenna. Upon receipt of this data, the NOAA Coastal Serices Center reclassified all non-ground data to a classification of 1 (Unclassified) and all ground points to a classification of 2 (Ground).

The LiDAR data acquisition was executed in 5 sessions, from March 7 to March 9, 2007. The airborne GPS (ABGPS) base stations supporting the LiDAR acquisition consisted of the bases set up by the flight crews at the Anderson Airport (KAND). Dual Frequency data was logged continuously for the duration of each LiDAR flight mission at a one-second sampling rate or better.

Popis
Temperature profile and other data were collected using CTD casts from the NOAA Ship RESEARCHER in the TOGA Area - Atlantic Ocean from 18 April 1985 to 20 November 1986. Data were collected by the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) in Miami, Florida with support from the SubTropical Atlantic Climate Studies (STACS) project. Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard High-Resolution STD/CTD Data (F022) format. Full format description is available from NODC at www.nodc.noaa.gov/General/NODC-Archive/f022.html. The F022 format contains high-resolution data collected using CTD (conductivity-temperature-depth) and STD (salinity-temperature-depth) instruments. As they are lowered and raised in the oceans, these electronic devices provide nearly continuous profiles of temperature, salinity, and other parameters. Data values may be subject to averaging or filtering or obtained by interpolation and may be reported at depth intervals as fine as 1m. Cruise and instrument information, position, date, time and sampling interval are reported for each station. Environmental data at the time of the cast (meteorological and sea surface conditions) may also be reported. The data record comprises values of temperature, salinity or conductivity, density (computed sigma-t), and possibly dissolved oxygen or transmissivity at specified depth or pressure levels. Data may be reported at either equally or unequally spaced depth or pressure intervals. A text record is available for comments.
