Dataset of metal concentrations in precipitation, hill cloud and air at rural locations throughout the UK. The data are collected to determine temporal and spatial trends in heavy metal concentrations in rural areas, and to calculate annual deposition budgets for heavy metals. Concentrations of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Se, V, Zn in air are measured at all sites to provide estimates of annual wet and dry deposition, published as deposition maps at 5km resolution. The dataset also contains measurements of Hg in precipitation and rain.
